Absentee and Payment Policies
Policies are never fun to read but please check these out before your first lesson so you're never hit with unnecessary fees.
Individual/Family Lesson Policies
Lesson Costs and Descriptions
$20 one-time insurance fee per participant

Prices per 30 minute lesson:
Private Lesson: 1 Student ($45)
Family lesson: 1-3* students from the same family ($45 total)
Group Lesson: 2 students ($25 per student per lesson)
Group Lesson: 3* students ($20 per student per lesson)

Individual or Family Lesson Payment Policy
- $20 one-time insurance fee due at the first lesson
Full payment of current swim lesson is due at the beginning of the lesson
If you choose, advance payment can be paid for the current calendar month
All checks should be made payable to Triangle Sea Otters
Individual or Family Absentee Policy: Dependent Upon Location
No Show Fee: Full price of the lesson is forfeited if you don’t show up for your lesson without prior notification
Town of Chapel Hill Pools (Chapel Hill Aquatic Center and Chapel Hill Community Center)
Within 7 Day Cancellations: $20 cancellation fee per 30 minute lesson for any reason
Outside of 7 days cancellations: No penalty. Please let us know as soon as you can so that we can try to fill your spot
All other Swim Lesson Locations:
Within 48 hours cancellation fee: $20 cancellation fee per 30 minute lesson for any reason
Outside 48 hours cancellation: No penalty. Please let us know as soon as you can so that we can try to fill your spot.​

- There are no refunds for group lessons missed
At the beginning of the month you are able to opt out of any dates, once lessons are confirmed full payment is due at the first lesson.
